There are two ways to trade here, and you can use both. Practise risk-free on a simulated account, then link your own brokerage when you want orders to settle for real.
Your own brokerage
Link an Alpaca account with keys you create and can revoke at any time. Choose a paper account (practice) or a live account (real money). Orders go to your account only — we never hold your funds.
Practice account
A simulated $100,000 account priced off the same live market feed. Nothing is at stake, and it works immediately without linking anything.

Orders are placed through your own Alpaca account using keys you supply and can revoke at any time. We never hold your money and never route your orders through anyone else's account.
