Report a business
If a business has defrauded you, misled you, broken consumer law or misused your personal data, tell us. We review every report, check the public enforcement registers, and prepare a referral pack for the authority that actually has the power to act.
Report directly too
We are not a regulator and we cannot investigate or prosecute. For anything urgent, report in parallel to:
- Action Fraud (National Fraud & Cyber Crime Reporting Centre) — Fraud and cyber crime in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. Scotland: report to Police Scotland on 101.
- National Cyber Security Centre — Suspicious Email Reporting — Phishing emails, scam websites and fraudulent text messages.
- Citizens Advice consumer service (routes to Trading Standards) — Goods not delivered, faulty goods, refusal to refund. This is the official intake for Trading Standards.
- Information Commissioner's Office — Misuse of personal data, unlawful marketing, failure to answer a data request.
